This platter is designed with the inverted Thistle Pattern. It is 12.5″ in diameter and the pressed glass has no chips or cracks. The cranberry color is also called pale pink.  Made by the  Cambridge Glass Co.  The pattern was also called Near Cut.  Near Cut is one of the names given to the pressed glass (pressed into a mold) glassware products that were mass produced to be more affordable than cut glass.
